Every time I think about our iconic brand, the Relationship black and white portrait, that we created over twenty years ago, I get goose bumps. So many factors came together back then-it was such a God inspired idea and it changed our future in ways we are still experiencing.
If you remember the 90's, color photography was all the rage. BUT...we decided to do black and white photography! WHAAAAT?
Yes, black and white portrait photography and not only that, but Tim decided to go back into the darkroom to process the film and hand print the portraits on silver gelatin fine art (archival) papers. After all, he started at twelve years old in the darkroom with his father, a photographer himself, who taught Tim the craft of photography.
Not stopping there, we completely changed our thought process and became storytellers. No camera smiles allowed!
We set out to capture the stories of our clients with heart stopping, emotional portraits that challenged all to become vulnerable and let walls down. I remember Tim saying, "I want our portraits to cause people to stop in their tracks and reflect on what is truly important in their lives."
Today, it is still at the core of our business and continues to be sought after. And we continue to tell the amazing stories of your families.
